Communities in which our apiaries and gardens live are invited to take part in various free workshops hosted at the garden sites. We refer to these opportunities as “community hive checks,” and they take place weekly throughout the summer. Learn about honey bee biology, the importance of pollinators, and taste our local honey. We’ll also suit you up and open a honey bee hive together! This includes checking to ensure the queen and colony is healthy, and feeding or treating for pests as needed.
