Honey Harvesting: In-Person Demo and Workshop
Join Huneebee Project's Tim Dutcher at Green Village Initiative's Reservoir Community Farm in Bridgeport for a live honey harvesting demo! We'll discuss the tools, harvesting process, and, of course, the bees’ labor in creating the sweet stuff. Frames from hives on-site will be extracted together and, or course, we'll save time for tasting!

The Importance of Native Plants: Garden Tour & Plant Sale
Come Join Taylor Shaw and Tim Dutcher on a tour of Huneebee's recently expanded Arthur Street pollinator garden! Explore some of our favorite plants and observe the visiting pollinators. We'll discuss the importance of native plants for ecosystem health and ways to include them in your garden, including what conditions specific plants prefer, their growth habits and tips on interplanting.
Seedlings will be available for sale, and you may even collect some seed so you can start your own!

Join us for a fundraising series that incorporates all things honey, beeswax, and bees! This fall’s event promises to be a memorable experience, featuring:
An informative talk on honey bees and the fascinating process of beeswax production
A cocktail hour with a curated selection of fine wines by Ungrafted Selections, craft beer by Armada Brewing, artisanal honey-themed cocktails by Wildcat, and gourmet hors d'oeuvres
An immersive beeswax candle-making workshop with Ang from They Keep Bees, where you will create your own bespoke beeswax candles to take home as a cherished memento
Your presence will not only contribute to an evening of grandeur but also support equipping our most resilient youth with transferable job skills needed to build their promising future. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Huneebee Project.
